Professional Development: Technology

Most educators are required to implement technology in the classroom. The curriculum being planned out should consider some technology lessons for educators to deliver their instruction. Furthermore, in higher education there needs to be a class for educators to learn how to integrate technology in the classroom and why it is important. Additionally, professional developments are offered by the school's administration team who should provided training during that time for teachers to learn the new technologies being offered. There are questions I sometimes ask myself such as, How come a student is not using the computer for the assignment? Why is playing Kahoot better for some students? Utilizing different learning platforms can guide students through technology. Additionally, using technology in the classroom allows teachers to do frequent checks for understanding, observations and implementations throughout the lesson. Moreover using technology such as having students complete their assignment online, playing review games, or simply creating a google slide presentation is assisting our students today. Due to the pandemic students have become more custom to technology by using their computers and other digital. Many teachers had to adjust to teach online learning. This pandemic did not make it easy for anyone but there was pressure on tea
